Job Description
College of Professional Studies is seeking a Part-time Faculty to instruct the following course: PPM 646 Global Projects and Virtual Project Management, (online) With the increased size and complexity of global projects, they are inherently prone to increased risk severity and hence, higher failure rates. This course examines approaches to effectively manage large-scale projects which are primarily comprised of virtual teams that have the additional challenges of being multi-cultural, overcoming language barriers, and collaborating across different time zones. When executed properly, megaprojects can have transformative impact over a long period of time. The project manager’s awareness of the unique challenges that these projects present, positions them to take proactive measures to mitigate the common problems that so often plague these high-profile projects. This position is anticipated to be filled on a fully remote basis. Not all geographical areas within the United States are eligible. Responsibilities
For each online section: Conduct live discussions weekly incorporating group work, case studies or other online pedagogy tools, incorporating material covered asynchronously, as well as student questions, items in the news that apply to course concepts, and other external sources or guests relevant to course content, etc. View asynchronous content and student work and inquiries in advance of weekly live sessions Grade assignments and exams quickly and provide relevant feedback to students; Maintain regularly scheduled virtual office hours Submit progress reports and final grades according to University regulations Participate in instructor meetings quarterly

Qualifications
Master’s Degree required PMP Certification required Significant experience in the field
