Woozle's Syndicate Research team is made up of Equity Research Analysts that write ongoing monthly and quarterly research reports on companies with business-to-consumer (B2C) sales and operating models. Each analyst covers up to 15-companies within a sector vertical across industries such as food retail, luxury goods, fashion retail, DIY and home improvement, travel, leisure, and restaurants and many more sectors are being added every quarter.
Woozle's Syndicate Research team works exclusively with institutional investors that invest in publicly listed companies and our clients include many of the world's largest hedge funds and mutual fund managers. Clients commission us to complete interviews and surveys with key company stakeholders such as clients, customers, distributors, suppliers, and industry experts to help them get a more leading, accurate, and unique insight into how a company is performing so that they can make a more informed investment decision.
Primary Research Analysts on our Syndicate Research team work very closely with our team of full-time Equity Analysts to collect opinions from industry sources that will help give investment professionals a leading, accurate, and differentiated insight into how companies are performing.
Equity Analysts on our Syndicate Research team are responsible for designing questions, briefing a team of primary research telephone interviewers, and reviewing and approving hundreds of completed surveys every month to help them write investment research reports on companies in their coverage universe.
Our Primary Research team completes several thousand surveys every month so Primary Research Analysts in our Syndicate Research team can expect to spend a lot of time on the phone talking to industry professionals such as store managers, sales advisors, and front-line staff globally to help collect opinions and observations on current trading and topical newsflow. The insights and opinions gathered by our Primary Research team are used by our Equity Research team to help write compelling investment research recommendations for clients.
We are looking to recruit a Primary Research Analyst to our Syndicate Research team our UK-based team as a remote-working, telephone researcher. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct in-depth telephone interviews with industry professionals at some of the world's largest companies, with the objective of uncovering the latest developments and fundamental factors that are impacting business performance.
We are seeking individuals with confident communication skills to join our channel research team in a part-time capacity.
The role is to conduct in-depth telephone interviews with stakeholders of the world’s largest companies, with the objective of uncovering the latest developments and fundamental factors impacting the company and industry performance.
The role is similar to detective work or investigative reporting and requires persistence and analytical thinking under pressure.
We conduct interviews with respondents across the globe. So in addition to English, we are seeking candidates with fluency in any Mandarin, Cantonese, French, Swedish, Japanese, Korean, German, Italian, or Spanish.
Successful applicants will receive extensive training in the key skills required to conduct interviews and the research principles we employ to acquire the best quality data.
The work is done remotely; the hours are part-time and extremely flexible. Typically are employees are able to commit to c.3 days per week but we are open to less/more than this.
Compensation is comprised of a base salary per hour plus monthly bonuses based on the number of accepted interviews submitted and the quality of your insights gathered. You will also need to review our compliance guidelines and learn our methodology, all of which is also posted on our database.
The work is telephone-based. It is ideal for those interested in getting started in equity research on either the buy-side or sell-side and is a good experience for both. Channel research skills are highly marketable, and the time you spend learning on the job could be helpful to get hired in the city.
Work is available Monday - Friday, with a typical working day of 7 hours, starting - ending;
