As a Senior WordPress Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of creating cutting-edge, custom WordPress solutions for a diverse North American client base. Responsibilities
- Architect and develop custom WordPress blocks that push the boundaries of traditional site building
- Contribute to large-scale, complex WordPress projects for high-profile clients
- Implement high-performance, optimized WordPress solutions that prioritize speed and efficiency
- Collaborate with the team on white-label projects, ensuring seamless integration with client systems
- Tackle complicated aspects of custom software development projects
- Provide technical insights and innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends and best practices to maintain cutting-edge development standards
Requirements
- Proven track record in advanced WordPress development, with a portfolio showcasing custom solutions
- Expert-level skills in PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress core functionalities
- Demonstrated experience in building and optimizing custom WordPress blocks
- Strong knowledge of WordPress performance optimization techniques and best practices
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently on complex tasks while collaborating effectively with a remote team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to work flexible hours to align with North American time zones (Pacific Time)
- Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of web development trends
- Experience with CakePHP is required
