For Antwerp, we are seeking a supervisor who can take the lead in cleaning operations. As a supervisor, you are responsible for managing the team and ensuring that hotel guests always enjoy a spotless environment.
What does your day look like?
Your day as a supervisor starts a bit earlier than the rest of the team.
Good morning!
You check in at the reception and review the work lists for the day. You assign tasks in our Group-f Portal and allocate rooms to your team members.
When the team arrives, you kick off with an energetic morning meeting where you discuss the focus point of the day.
The first hour, you roll up your sleeves and clean a few rooms yourself. Then, you conduct room inspections and guide the team as needed to ensure the rooms are delivered to the client on time. You communicate smoothly with the hotel about any technical issues.
At the end of the day, you evaluate your team’s productivity and prepare any necessary coaching for the next day. You ensure that work hours and billing are accurately processed.
Together with your coach, you monitor the team’s performance. You are the first point of contact for your team, your coach, and the client.
In summary, your responsibilities:
Participating in room cleaning.
Leading, guiding, and adjusting the team as needed.
Communicating with both the team and the client.
Creating schedules, daily plans, and monitoring the quality of work.
Training and integrating new employees into the team.
Assisting in nearby hotels if needed.
Who Are We Looking For?
Keywords that describe you: Hospitality, hands-on, coach, social, driven, precise.
Experience in (hotel) cleaning and not afraid to actively participate.
Time management is no issue for you.
Able to monitor cleaning, train new people, and step in when needed.
Experience in leading a team is a plus.
You are comfortable with weekend work.
You have a neat appearance.
You can communicate fluently in Dutch or English, which helps in managing your team and interacting with customers.
What We Offer:
Contract: Immediate permanent contract for 20 hours per week. During the high season, you will receive additional hours.
Salary: Competitive salary of €17,06 gross per hour.
Weekend Compensation: Attractive weekend rates: €21,33/hr on Saturdays, €34,12/hr on Sundays.
Allowances: Commuting/bicycle allowance.
