This is a part-time position for a post-baccalaureate researcher with previous experience in acoustic measurement of speech to assist with an externally funded study of speech production in the Biofeedback Intervention Technology for Speech (BITS) Lab. The research assistant will contribute to post-processing and measurement of audio files resulting from experimental data collection and will check the validity of measures derived and entered in the study database.Β
This is a fully remote, part-time position that requires an estimated 3 hours of work per week, with flexible scheduling.Β
In compliance with NYCβs Pay Transparency Act, the hourly salary range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
Previous familiarity with acoustic phonetics and Praat software.
