Job Description

C2's client, a global agency providing package design and brand collateral in print and digital, is searching for a seasoned and dynamic Digital Marketing Strategist to join their team on a contract basis. This role will provide critical support for B2B clients, including healthcare organizations, with a focus on improving the impact of social media and email campaigns. The ideal candidate combines strategic expertise with a data-driven mindset to help refine campaigns, analyze performance, and deliver actionable insights. They thrive on digging into “what works” and “what doesn’t” while offering insightful and practical recommendations for improvement.

Start date: As soon as they find the right person
Duration: Contract, project-based (approximately 5-10 hrs. per project), flexible/asynchronous scheduling as long as deadlines are met
Location: Remote
Compensation: Compensation based on qualifications

Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Analytics:
    • Conduct an initial critique of existing social media and email campaigns, primarily on LinkedIn, Twitter, and WhatsApp
    • Develop structured, proven processes tailored to this organization's B2B and healthcare clients
    • Optimize social media performance using analytics tools, focusing on identifying target audiences and maximizing engagement
Email Campaign Support:
    • Review and enhance email campaigns (HubSpot) to improve open and click-through rates
    • Provide recommendations for design and copy improvements based on data insights
Client-Facing Collaboration:
    • Participate in client calls as needed to present findings and recommendations
    • Work with internal teams to align social media and email strategies with broader marketing goals
Project Management:
    • Manage deadlines and deliverables effectively, completing work during off-hours if necessary

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, analytics, or related roles
  • Strong background in B2B and/or healthcare marketing
  • Familiarity with HubSpot for email marketing campaigns
  • Proven ability to analyze and report on campaign performance, with a focus on actionable insights
  • Proven ability to analyze and optimize paid advertisements across platforms beyond social media
  • Adept at working with LinkedIn, Twitter, and WhatsApp for professional campaigns
  • Tech-savvy with a focus on structured, results-driven methods
  • Experience presenting findings and strategies to clients or stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to identify target audience (clinic vs c-suite)

Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience in data support and email marketing analysis
  • Understanding of conservative, business-oriented social media practices
  • Ability to critique and refine campaign design and copy for maximum impact
