About the Role

As an Inventory Operation Specialist, your role is to further develop and assist inventory plans that align with forecasted demand for our hospitality customers. You will manage and optimize inventory, including lead times, safety stock, and order cycles, to ensure a smooth flow of goods from our vendors. This includes identifying and mitigating risks of stock shortages or overages, minimizing backorders within the supply chain, and implementing effective pre-buy strategies with well-timed ramp-up and ramp-down plans. Additionally, you will regularly assess vendor capacities, and scorecard vendors to make sure they meet their service level agreements. Collaboration with the Sales and Operations teams is crucial to successfully manage supply and inventory strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Part-Time (20 Hours a week)
  • Communicate and coordinate between vendors, internal stakeholders, and team members.
  • Frequent Visits to Fed Ex
  • Ability to perform regular vendor assessments and monitor service level agreements through effective score-carding methods.
  • Planning and anticipating supply chain challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monthly reconciliation of inventory to match invoices from our vendors
  • Leverage Microsoft Excel to enhance data analysis and business efficiency with features like formulas, and pivot tables, that simplify managing datasets and drive better decision-making.
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Operations teams to align inventory strategies with business objectives.
  • Setup customer’s new hardware including pairing beacons, recording serial numbers, upload to portal, label, boxing/unboxing and shipment to customer site.
  • Coordinate hardware return to vendor including vendor communication, documenting serial number, portal update, invoice update, inventory update, create shipping label, pack and drop off for shipment.
