Medical Scribe -Mobile Vaccination Clinical Teams  

Brief Overview: We are seeking a per diem Medical Scribe to assist us in our mobile healthcare clinic efforts in counties across Washington State. As part of the Mobile Vaccination Clinical Teams operations, Medical Scribes are responsible for documenting patient encounters, assisting with data entry, ensuring accurate medical records, as well as and monitoring, documenting, and preparing vaccines during our mobile clinics.  These vaccines are provided at various at public health sites, public schools, and community settings throughout Washington.    

While prior experience in a healthcare setting and being proficient in medical terminology and documentation is a plus, it is not a requirement to apply for this position as we will provide virtual and onsite training. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and can adapt well in a fast-paced environment, with compassionate patient handling and service skills. 


Schedule:   

  • Per Diem, varying depending on the assignment.  
  • You will receive a schedule of available clinics on a weekly basis and can choose clinics that fit into your schedule.   

Location:   

  •  Varies by clinic location.  
    Primarily Western Washington, with occasional Eastern Washington clinic locations upon request. 

Compensation:  

$19.00-$29.50 


What We Offer:   

  • Competitive wages and bi-weekly pay.  
  • Paid Training - Virtual/Online/Hands-On.  
  • Paid mileage for clinic travel exceeding 40 miles each way (.67/mile).
  • Paid time for clinic travel and clinic hours worked.
  • Free overnight hotel stays when necessary.  
  • Per diem pay for clinics requiring an overnight stay (89/overnight stay).   


  What You'll Do:   

  • Assist with clinic supply pick-up and drop-offs.
  • Document patient encounters and medical procedures.   
  • Input patient data into the WA State Immunization Information System.  
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all medical documentation.  
  • Monitor, document, and prepare vaccines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care.  
  • Maintain professional workspaces in accordance with SOPs and safety guidelines.    
  • Assist with site set-up and tear-down at mobile clinic locations.

  Requirements:   

  • Must reside in WA state 
  • 1+ year of experience as a Medical Scribe or similar role in a healthcare setting (preferred).  
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation.  
  • Empathy, compassion, dependability, and attention to detail are essential.  
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and strong technical aptitude.  
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.  
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  
  • Ability to sim/stand for extended periods.
