Corporate - Sr. Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Engineer Sr is responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT Infrastructure platforms specifically targeted to public cloud providers and their interaction to traditional On Premises systems. This includes but is not limited to Azure, GCP, AWS, Networking components, Virtual Machines, and the various resource types, concepts, and tools relating to cloud computing. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Manage and maintain the enterprise cloud workloads, backup, storage, servers, and other environments and provide continued improvements. 
• Collaborate with across teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes. 
• Deploy and maintain the enterprise virtual environment (vSphere, Azure, Hyper-V, AVS, AvD, other cloud) 
• Deploy and maintain the enterprise backup and storage environment 
• Deploy and maintain the enterprise server environment 
• Collaborate with peers and leadership to evaluate and deploy new technologies 
• Serve as point of escalation for all Cloud related support, deployment, design 
• Document and Diagram infrastructure and solutions. Comfortable with Visio. 
• Proficiency in the Microsoft ecosystem including on-prem server and workloads, 365, Azure, EntraID 
• Intermediate to advanced networking knowledge with concentration in cloud networking including vWAN, vHub, vNet, BGP and other related technologies. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of five years working experience and advanced proficiency in Microsoft workloads including Server, 365, Azure. 
• Minimum of three years working experience and advanced proficiency in Enterprise level backup solutions. 
• Minimum of three years working experience and advanced proficiency in Enterprise level virtual environments. 
• Minimum of ten years in a hands-on technical role. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead and to effectively communicate with staff at all levels including a proven ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff across multiple disciplines. 
• Experience with privacy legislation e.g. HIPPA. 
• High competency in understanding queries, comments, suggestions and concerns or issues expressed by participants during meeting, technical committees, and as part of ongoing operations. 
• Excellent presentation skills and an ability to engage audiences. 
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 
• Superior problem solving ability. 
• Exceptional analytical, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills. 
• Ability to act independently with minimal supervision. 

• Ability to build relationships and work well across functions.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: 

• Industry Certifications like A+, Network+, MS Certificates a plus but not .
